Big Softy padded baby play mats are the perfect combination of cushioning and support. They're versatile; easy clean, eco friendly, certified non toxic and easily transportable. Designed for our littlest loves who need a safe, soft, easy clean surface at home and/or when out and about. Big Softy baby play mats have a luxurious, silky smooth faux leather cover with a soft & squishy natural latex foam rubber insert; making them cushy, snuggly and buttery soft. Perfect for tummy time, floor play, tumbles, cuddles, snuggles, messy play and more!

Please Note- Big Softy baby play mats are not Cuvvy's, they are 10cm smaller than our round Cuvvy® padded play mats; they're not printed, have a softer vegan leather layer, are a bit thicker, and come with a belt to roll or fold them up for easy transport.

Easy to transport- Big Softy padded baby play mats are designed to go everywhere; indoors and outdoors, they easily fold up and can be secured with their own leather belt.

PLEASE NOTE- The Big Softy padded baby play mat features a Child Safety Zip that requires a paper clip to open it.

Care Guide

Easy Clean- Simply wipe clean with a soapy cloth or baby wipe

Cover- can be ironed inside out to remove creases

Ironing Instructions- please follow carefully

1. Remove rubber inner

2. Turn cover inside out- DO NOT TOUCH LEATHER OUTER WITH IRON IT WILL MELT

3. Once play mat is inside-out with the inner lining layer facing up, place over an ironing board and iron inner lining layer on medium heat- iron one side at a time like you would a shirt. DO NOT IRON LEATHER OUTER!

If ironing is not your thing- Creases will relax with time and use, laying them in the sun can speed up the process.

Cover- Easy Clean; The Big Softy padded baby play mat's vegan leather cover is waterproof and can simply be wiped clean with a soapy cloth or baby wipe. Designed to be used both indoors and outdoors but NOT meant for prolonged periods in the sun or rain. Please bring inside when not in use. 

The Vegan Leather cover is waterproof however the zip and stitching are not, please do not submerge in water as the zip could allow water to seep inside, if this happens simply take the inner out of the cover and hang to dry in the shade. Dry thoroughly before putting away. 

Do not iron outer leather layer.

Do not machine wash or put in a clothes dryer.  

Avoid permanent markers and similar products that may stain or permanently mark the leather. 

Natural Latex insert-  Your padded baby play mat insert should be constantly protected by its cover, if for any reason you need to take the foam play mat insert out of the cover do not expose it to prolonged periods of sunlight because this will dry out the latex and cause it to become discoloured and brittle. If the latex rubber inner becomes wet, take it out of its cover and let it dry in the shade before putting it back inside its cover. Make sure both the foam play mat insert and cover are completely dry before putting them back together.

Did you know we only use the best rubber in our cushioned baby play mats? Natural Latex rubber is harvested directly from trees. It is a sustainable resource because the tree does not have to be cut down to produce the latex.

PLEASE NOTE- Vegan Leather does crease when folded up, creases will relax over time with use, but will reappear if the play mat is folded to store. Creases are a characteristic of vegan leather and not a fault. Warm in the sun to help release creases.
